Paradise City extends closure due to new cases
The casino in Incheon, South Korea, has detected more Covid-19 cases among staff.
South Korea.- Paradise City casino resort will extend its three-day closure, which began on Tuesday until at least September 7 after three more members of staff tested postive for Covid-19.
The resort closed this week after one employee at its Chinese restaurant had tested positive.
It intended to reopen quickly after disinfecting the property, but now another three cases have been identified.
The casino area will remain closed until at least September 7, while the hotel and resort areas might reopen today as planned.
Two of those infected are Chinese nationals working as chefs at a Chinese restaurant. The other two appear to be Koreans – a staff member of the restaurant and a hotel secretary.
The Chinese restaurant is expected to remain closed for at least two weeks.
