SkyCity Adelaide reopens three days after closing
Authorities have lifted lockdown measures and the casino has been able to reopen with restrictions.
Australia.- The State of South Australia has decided to lift a six-day lockdown announced last week and allow most businesses to reopen.
SkyCity Adelaide has reopened with restrictions in place, including entry limited to certain membership tiers, a maximum capacity of 100 people including staff on the gaming floor, and fewer spaces at gaming tables.
SkyCity said last week that it would delay the launch of its AU$330 million SkyCity Adelaide expansion, including the 120-room luxury hotel Eos by SkyCity, as a result of the closure. The opening had been for this coming week.
The six-day lockdown had been announced after a worker at a pizza shop tested positive for Covid-19 and misled authorities about his movements.
