All entertainment venues will resume operations from tomorrow amid a decline in Covid-19 cases in Macau.

Macau.- Authorities in Macau have announced that entertainment venues will be allowed to reopen from October 19 as no new Covid-19 cases have been detected.

While Casinos weren’t forced to close their gaming floors during Macau’s latest outbreak resorts were ordered to shut spas, gymnasiums, lounges and bars and other entertainment venues had to close.

The city has now lifted its “immediate pandemic prevention” alert. Health authorities have carried out new mass testing to exclude any potential Covid-19 cases.

Casino Oceanus to reopen after a snap four-day closure

Casino Oceanus has reopened its doors after closing for disinfection when a customer was found to have tested positive for Covid-19.

SJM Holdings said the casino “strictly adheres to the pandemic prevention and control measures of the Macau SAR Government to ensure a safe and hygienic environment, safeguarding the health and safety of employees, guests and the entire Macau community.”
