Kangwon Land adjusts reopening date once more
As Covid-19 cases continue to occur in South Korea, the date to reopen the main floor of the casino has been pushed back once more.
South Korea.- At an emergency meeting, Kangwon Land executives have decided once again to push back the reopening of the casino.
The continued spread of Covid-19 in South Korea is worrying executives at the only casino in which locals can legally gamble.
After many extensions, the new date for the potential reopening of the main floor has been set for July 13, Asia Gaming Brief reports.
The casino entered lockdown on February 23 and has since only reopened the VIP floor with social distancing measures and safety regulations in place.
The main gaming floor was set to open at the end of May and was initially put back to June 15 due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
