“We never underestimate the value of human interaction”
(Exclusive interview).- Vahe Baloulian, CEO of BetConstruct, talked with Focus Gaming News about G2E Las Vegas and the company’s expansion plans.
Leading technology provider and one of the most successful brands on a worldwide level, BetConstruct is set to highlight an enhanced version of its products during the upcoming edition of G2E Las Vegas, which will take place from October 3-5.
Vahe Baloulian, CEO of BetConstruct, discussed with Focus Gaming News what visitors can expect from the company’s booth during the three day event. Moreover, he analysed BetConstruct’s position in the United States and detailed the biggest challenges for the last few months of the year.
G2E will experience the expansion of the company’s management products with the recently unveiled Spring BME. Will you be showcasing new products at G2E 2017? What will be your headline attraction?
BetConstruct is always on the move. Our latest business management environment, BetConstruct BME, makes it unbelievably easy for our partners to take control of many aspects of their operation. This is a significant development but not the only one that our G2E guests will experience. This year we’ll show the enhanced versions of our Fantasy Sports and Social Gaming suites. We will present the progress we made in the VR and MR area. We have tried to make sure that G2E visitors will find their stop at our stand really worthwhile. Along with the above mentioned products, they will learn how they can benefit from the rest of the impressive line-up of technology and services that BetConstruct will bring to G2E.
2017 has been a strong and productive year for BetConstruct as it achieved several partnerships all over the world. Are you counting on G2E Las Vegas to help you strengthen your partnerships and achieve new ones?
We never underestimate the value of human interaction. With 14 offices on almost every continent and BetConstruct Partner Summit events, we try to be very close to our partners. G2E is another opportunity but here we focus more on expanding our family of partners, learning from our peers and sharing our success story with the global gaming community.

How do you perceive the company’s position in the United States? Are you considering strengthening your brand in a specific market in the continent?
US is a complicated market. It is akin to operating in fifty countries. Here we go state-by-state. For example, in Nevada our technology is being licensed to provide sports betting services to the land-based casinos. In other states, depending on their regulations, BetConstruct will continue to promote Fantasy Sports, Skill Games and Social Gaming offerings. We have a supplier deal with the Tribal Gaming Network. There is interest in our online products from New Jersey as well. All these led to the expansion of our US office prior to G2E.
In just a few months BetConstruct has participated in several events in different regions like Europe, Asia and Latin America, and it has highlighted the best features of each of them. What is the biggest difference when performing in North America?
G2E is a global event and we treat it as such. When we participate in the US-focused events, our approach is very different. While BetConstruct is a very respected global brand, in the US it is just starting to get traction. I have been living in the US for almost 30 years now and I’m confident that we’ll be as at home in North America as we are in every territory where we have partners.

What does the rest of 2017 have in store for BetConstruct? What will be the biggest challenge for the last few months of the year?
The promise of BetConstruct is that we will do all it takes to make our partners successful. From providing them with superior technology to giving them an unprecedented freedom and flexibility to use it and sharing with them our extensive knowledge and experience. Whatever it takes, we will be the power behind their success. The main challenge is not to disappoint our partners and keep the promise. We met this challenge in 2017 and will do so again in 2018.
