Vermont sports betting handle reaches $22.9m in March
The handle increased by 13 per cent year-over-year and 6 per cent from February 2025.
US.- Vermont’s sports betting handle was $22.9m in March, up 13 per cent year-over-year and up 6 per cent from February. Adjusted gross wagering revenue was $1.2m, and winnings reached $21.4m.
According to Vermont’s Department for Liquor and Lottery, basketball led the market with $10.8m in bets, followed by soccer with $2m, tennis with $1.6m, hockey with $856,528, and ebasketball with $482,180.
Of the total handle, $15.8m was wagered in Vermont and $7m out of state. There were 21,321 active users in March, 10,350 in the state, and 10,971 out of state. The number of bets reached 777,085: 604,479 in Vermont and 172,606 out-of-state.
Vermont’s online sports betting market opened in January 2024, with DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics Sportsbook operating mobile sports wagering platforms in the state. Governor Phil Scott signed HB 127 into law in June 2023.
