Wynn Al Marjan Island, home to the UAE’s first licensed land-based casino, has revealed Wynn Marina, a new waterfront component of the Ras Al Khaimah resort. The 98-berth superyacht marina will accommodate superyachts and megayachts of up to 85 metres, with Wynn saying it will accommodate more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel-attached marina in the UAE. Wynn Al Marjan Island is scheduled to open in September 2027.

The marina will connect guests arriving by sea directly with the resort’s accommodation, dining, entertainment, wellness and retail offerings and will be the first truly integrated resort marina experience in the region, according to an official Wynn Resorts press release dated October 5.

“Wynn Marina has been conceived as a direct extension of Wynn Al Marjan Island,” said Max Tappeiner, president of Wynn Al Marjan Island. “Guests will move effortlessly between life on the water and experiences throughout the resort, from dining and entertainment to accommodations and waterfront amenities. It is not simply a place to berth a yacht, but an integral part of the destination.”

The marina will centre on a circular harbour that will be visible from surrounding accommodation, terraces, restaurants and promenades.

US-based IGY Marinas, a global marina operator, will provide operational expertise for Wynn Marina, combining harbour management with Wynn’s hospitality offering. The marina’s services will include dining reservations, transportation, provisioning, onboard celebrations and tailored experiences across the resort.

Marina connects guests and yachts

The Capitainerie (marina’s main operations and guest-services hub) will serve as the arrival point for visiting yachts, bringing marina operations, guest services, concierge support and captain services together.

Guests will be able to check in onboard and directly access the resort’s accommodation, dining, entertainment, wellness and retail experiences.

For resort guests and visitors, the marina will offer a waterfront setting with dining beside the harbour, a promenade and views of arriving yachts. Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Marina and Ocean Estates will be positioned around the marina, bringing accommodation, yachts and resort experiences together at the water’s edge.

The marina will also create opportunities for celebrations and events, including wedding arrivals by yacht and occasions overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

The marina announcement comes as Wynn Al Marjan Island moves through a busy period of development and pre-opening preparations. In recent months, Wynn has completed its 550-metre beachfront, sheltered lagoon and 319-metre offshore reef, unveiled its Mayfair and Paris Apartments and introduced new Townhomes within the Enclave accommodation offering. Wynn has also opened recruitment for gaming technicians, cage operations and gaming credit and collections roles as preparations for the resort’s gaming operation continue.
