Wynn recruitment highlights casino infrastructure taking shape ahead of UAE opening
Wynn Al Marjan Island has posted three new gaming-related vacancies in September 2026, covering gaming technicians, cage operations and credit and collections.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is moving steadily deeper into casino preparations, with three vacancies posted in August and September showing how the UAE’s first licensed land-based gaming facility is taking shape beyond the construction site.
Wynn Al Marjan Island’s careers listings show an assistant manager – gaming technician vacancy, posted on August 21, an assistant manager – cage vacancy, posted on September 16, and a manager – gaming credit & collections position, posted on September 1.
The Gaming Technicians position provides the clearest insight into the casino’s gaming operations. The successful candidate will oversee technicians responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing gaming equipment, while monitoring machine performance, uptime and guest feedback.
The vacancy says the role will “Manage the installation, configuration, relocation, and removal of EGM, table game equipment, and related systems.” EGMs, or electronic gaming machines, include electronic casino products such as slot machines and video gaming terminals.
The role will also assist with integrating new gaming platforms, cashless solutions and digital interfaces. It will work with IT, Surveillance and Gaming Operations to maintain system connectivity, data integrity and operational reliability.
Candidates are expected to have at least five years’ experience in EGM operations or technical maintenance in a regulated gaming environment, alongside knowledge of gaming hardware, software, networking and regulatory requirements.
The Assistant Manager – Cage role shifts the focus from machines to the casino’s cash and financial operations. The position will supervise cage operations and cashier teams, monitor cash levels, chip inventories and vault operations, and prepare financial and operational reports.
The vacancy states that the role must “Ensure compliance with all financial controls, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and regulatory requirements.”
The cage is expected to operate around the clock, with the role covering shifts and weekends. The assistant manager will also be involved in audits, inspections and regulatory reviews.
Meanwhile, the Manager – Gaming Credit & Collections role adds another financial layer, covering credit applications, outstanding balances, risk exposure, collections and payment arrangements.
The manager will lead the gaming credit and collections team, review and endorse credit applications, and monitor outstanding balances, risk exposure and ageing of accounts.
The position requires the manager to “Ensure the understanding and application of effective credit policies and procedures to facilitate responsible extension of credit and minimise risk.”
The three vacancies show how the casino operation is being built around more than gaming machines, with credit, cash management, financial controls, compliance and technology all being developed in parallel.
Wynn Resorts is working towards a September 2027 opening, with development expected to cost around US$5.7bn.
The recruitment comes as physical development continues at Wynn Al Marjan Island. The resort has completed its 550-metre beachfront, sheltered lagoon and offshore reef, and showcased its casino project at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
