Cathay Pacific suspends Dubai flights until April 30

Hong Kong carrier cancels all Dubai services amid Middle East tensions.

Cathay Pacific has suspended all flights to and from Dubai until April 30 due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East. The company has said that it prioritises operational safety and will continue to monitor regional developments for any further changes.

Passengers affected by the changes can rebook or reroute their tickets, or request a refund, free of charge, for travel between Hong Kong and Dubai until May 31. Bookings made directly with Cathay Pacific can be managed via the “Manage booking” platform or Customer Care. Passengers with third-party tickets should contact their respective agents directly.

Earlier this month, Wynn Resorts introduced contingency measures for employees working on its flagship integrated resort project in the country, offering staff the option to work remotely from abroad.

In addition to remote work options, Wynn Resorts said it has arranged additional housing solutions to help employees and their families feel more secure during the current situation. The company added that it will not disclose details regarding housing or travel arrangements for security reasons. Wynn also said it is closely monitoring developments in the region and has contingency plans in place to protect staff if the situation deteriorates further.
