Wyndham brings first Dolce residences to Al Marjan Island alongside UAE casino resort

The 93-unit Dolce Residences project will add another branded development to the island, alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island’s upcoming integrated resort with gaming facilities.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is bringing the world’s first Dolce Residences by Wyndham to Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, alongside the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, the UAE’s first integrated resort with gaming facilities.

According to a press release issued by BNW Developments, the developer has partnered with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to develop Dolce Residences Ras Al Khaimah on Al Marjan Island. The project will feature 93 premium residential units and five exclusive retail spaces, with handover scheduled for Q4 2028. The design-led development will focus on wellness, experience and coastal living, according to BNW.

Sheikh Saqr Bin Omar Al Qasimi, chief executive of Marjan Development, said: “The arrival of Dolce Residences by Wyndham on Al Marjan Island is another clear signal of the confidence global hospitality brands are placing in Ras Al Khaimah. BNW Developments’ decision to bring the world’s first Dolce Residences here, and to do so as their second partnership with Wyndham, speaks directly to the momentum we are building as a destination of choice for discerning developers and residents alike.”

Qasimi said Al Marjan Island continues to attract “boutique, design-forward concepts” that diversify its offering and reinforce Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a leading investment and lifestyle destination.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed on the same island by Wynn Resorts and is expected to become the UAE’s first integrated resort with gaming facilities. The resort is scheduled to open in September 2027, while its development budget has increased by around US$600m to roughly US$5.7bn. It follows Aman Group’s Janu Al Marjan Island, another branded residential project under construction on the island.

By combining boutique intimacy with the prestige of the Wyndham brand, we are creating a sanctuary that reflects the future of Ras Al Khaimah as a global destination.”

Aggarwal added that the project marks BNW Developments’ second significant partnership with Wyndham, strengthening their shared focus on branded residential living in the region.

Dimitris Manikis, president EMEA of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “The signing of the world’s first Dolce Residences by Wyndham marks a defining moment for Wyndham’s branded residences growth strategy across the EMEA region and reflects the strength of our expanding partnership with BNW Developments. The branded residences sector has been calling for a brand like Dolce – one that blends character, style, and a true sense of place with elevated hospitality experiences – making it a natural fit for this evolving market.”

Manikis said Wyndham was proud to bring Dolce to Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, with the project drawing on the group’s global expertise to offer a differentiated approach to upscale coastal living.
