Tomakomai officials tour US casinos
A group of Tomakomai city officials toured around the US to visit the six casino operators involved in the RFI process.
Japan.- Tomakomai will sooner or later get an integrated resort and is assessing which company will develop the gaming venue in the area. That’s why city officials toured around the US between November 14th to the 23rd in order to visit casino operators involved in September’s request for information (RFI) process.
Officials visited Las Vegas, Orlando and an undisclosed city in the state of Connecticut, AGB reported after interviewing an official via telephone. That means that the visit probably involved Caesars, Hard Rock, Rush Street Gaming and Foxwoods.
Caesars Entertainment actually confirmed to AGB that they did host the delegation in Las Vegas and said: “During these visits we showcase the wide variety of entertainment options available at our properties, as well as provide greater insight to some of the things that matter most to us, such as our responsible gaming programs, employee training and development, and environmental sustainability initiatives.”
The Tomakomai government will develop a new “IR Master Plan” in March to include international operators’ ideas and reference the “Hokkaido White IR Initiative” published this year.
