Tennessee approves three new mobile sportsbooks
The Tennessee Sports Wagering Advisory Council has approved BallyBet, SuperBook and Betly Sportsbook to operate sports betting in the state.
US.- Three mobile sportsbooks have been approved as operators for sports betting in Tennessee. The Tennessee Sports Wagering Advisory Council (SWAC) voted unanimously to approve BallyBet, SuperBook and Betly Sportsbook in the state.
SuperBook has launched its mobile sportsbook app in Nevada, New Jersey, Arizona, and Colorado. It was conceived in Las Vegas and expanded outside Nevada thanks to a deal with Westgate Resorts in 2018.
Betly is currently available for customers in West Virginia and Arkansas.
Bally Bet has signed a deal as official sports betting partner of the Tennessee ice hockey team the Nashville Predators until 2025, it’s Bally’s first partnership with an NHL franchise and its first deal with a professional sports team in Tennessee. Bally’s is currently available in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, and Virginia.
Tennessee legalised sports betting in May 2019 and launched its market on November 1, 2020. In January, Tennessee’s eight active sportsbooks took $386.1m in wagers, an increase of 83 per cent year-on-year, according to data released by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Advisory Council (SWAC).
Tennessee sportsbooks registered $23m in Super Bowl bets, up nearly 50 per cent compared to $15.4m in wagers from the 2021 Super Bowl.
