PointsBet partners with Colonial Downs for Virginia sports betting licence
The gaming company has been awarded a temporary supplier licence by the Virginia Lottery.
US.- PointsBet has partnered with Colonia Downs Group and has been awarded a temporary supplier licence by the Virginia Lottery, to offer online sports betting in Virginia.
Colonial Downs, a subsidiary of California-based Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, owns six Rosie’s Gaming Emporium locations in the state, as well as the Colonial Downs Racetrack in New Kent County.
Since PointsBet is the official, exclusive sports betting partner of NBC Sports, the bookmaker will use NBC Sports’ television and digital assets to promote its brand in Virginia.
NBC Sports will provide PointsBet with year-round, multi-platform media and marketing opportunities in its events. The gaming firm will reach Hispanic sports fans via Telemundo Deportes and Telemundo broadcast stations.
