New Hampshire sports betting handle increases year-over-year in February

The handle totalled $63.3m, up 1.6 per cent year-over-year.

US.- New Hampshire’s sports betting handle was $63.3m in February, up 1.6 per cent year-over-year but down 19.8 per cent from January. The figure was the lowest since August 2024 ($49.3m).

The mobile handle was $58.8m, down 18 per cent from January, while retail accounted for $4.3m, down 39 per cent. According to the New Hampshire Lottery, combined gross gaming revenue (GGR) was $8m, down 28 per cent from January. Mobile sports betting generated $7.6m and retail $407,502.

From July 2024 to February inclusive, the combined sports betting handle totalled $560,1m. For Super Bowl LIX, bettors in the state wagered more than $7.5m. Of those who wagered on the winner, 89 per cent bet on the Philadelphia Eagles, who went on to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

In January, the New Hampshire House Ways and Means Committee rejected House Bill 83, which would have raised the legal betting age from 18 to 21. The committee voted 11-7 against the bill.
