US.- Mississippi sports betting handle was $18.3m in July, down 27.1 per cent from $25.1m in June, marking a fourth consecutive month with a decline. The handle was also down 40.4 per cent year-on-year, from $30.7m in July 2021. Revenue increased by 19.5 per cent month-on-month to $2.5m, but this was 13.8 per cent behind the $2.9m reported in July 2021.

Coastal casinos recorded $11.4m in bets and reported $1.5m in revenue. Player spending at central casinos reached $4.1m with revenue amounting to $481,362. Northern casinos took $2.8m in wagers and posted $513,693 in revenue.

The most popular sport for betting was baseball, with consumers wagering $6.5m at coastal casinos, $1.9m and central casinos, and $1.6m at northern casinos.

Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel is located on the Mississippi River. It opened in 2012 and offers over 450 slot machines, 14 table games, and a sportsbook. It also has a restaurant and bar, and a 141-room hotel.
