The Malta Gaming Authority has cancelled its authorisation awarded to the sports gaming and online casino company Evobet.

Malta.- The Maltese regulator, the Malta Gaming Authority, has decided to cancel its authorisation of Evobet Limited for breaches of regulation 9 (1) of its regulations.

It says the company failed to comply with one or more applicable obligations and failed to pay in a timely manner all amounts due to the Authority.

As a result, Evobet is no longer authorised to carry out any gaming operations, register new players or accept new customer deposits under its Maltese licence. It must retain and provide all registered players with access to their player accounts in order to refund any outstanding funds.

Last month, The Maltese regulator has cancelled the B2C Service Licence issued to CZ Trading, under which it operated the online casino site DrVegas.com with approved service provider Cyberslotz.
