Great Canadian Gaming increases revenue

The company increased its revenue by 90 per cent during the second quarter of the year.

Canada.- Great Canadian Gaming has reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2018, a period in which the company increased revenues by 90 per cent (to US$305.3 million) when compared to the same period a year before.

The company said that net earnings during the second quarter stand at US$64 million, an increase of 134 per cent when compared to the same three months in 2017. Adjusted EBITDA was US$124.6 million, or an increase of 98 per cent year-on-year.

Rod Baker, the company’s president and CEO, said: “Our second quarter results reflected a full quarter of operations from the GTA Gaming Bundle and two months of operations from the West GTA Gaming Bundle. Our expanded presence in Ontario and the long-term extensions in BC from the new OSAs secure the company’s position as the preeminent gaming operator in Canada. Great Canadian is now a much stronger and more diversified company that is well positioned for further growth.”
