GiG has signed a deal with new strategic partner Kings Media, marking its arrival in the Canadian province.
Canada.- Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed an agreement with Kings Media, marking its arrival in the Candian province of Ontario. The deal has been signed for an initial three-year period with the opportunity to be renewed. Kings Media has decades of operational experience, but this will be its first venture in North America.
In July, GiG was awarded a supplier licence in Ontario and can now offer its B2B sportsbook and player account management (PAM) platforms to licensed operators in the Canadian province. Ontario launched regulated igaming on April 4.
Volodymyr Harkusha, CEO of Kings Media, said: “In our quest to expand to the exponentially competitive Ontario market, we were looking for an industry-leading, future-ready partner. GiG fit the bill perfectly, not only by ticking and double-ticking all the boxes but also by impressing us with their clear vision and dedication to the project.
“We are looking forward to working together with GiG on the mutual challenges ahead and we are certain that this collaboration will enable us to gain a significant foothold in the Ontario market.”
Richard Brown, CEO of GiG, added: “I am particularly delighted to partner with Kings Media, a prominent online casino operator and brand with a great deal of experience, who share our values around personalisation, responsible gaming and the importance of regulated markets.
“We see great potential in Ontario, particularly when we can harness the operational experience of operators like Kings Media.”
Playson recently signed a deal with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) to provide the firm with its portfolio of casino content. It will offer a selection of titles, including recent releases Book del Sol: Multiplier, Lion Gems: Hold and Win and Joker’s Coins: Hold & Win.
Bally Bet launches casino app for Ontario igaming market
Government agency iGaming Ontario announced that Bally Bet (owned by Bally’s Corporation) joined the province’s Internet gambling market as a regulated and approved operator.
