Circa Sports to open permanent sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall in Kentucky
The 5,100 square feet venue will open this summer.
US.- Circa Sports Kentucky will open the state’s largest retail sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin. The 5,100 square feet venue will open this summer following the opening of a temporary venue last August.
The new space will jave an 80-Foot-Wide LED Screen, a 31-foot-wide odds board, 113 stadium-style seats and five betting stations, including an ADA-accessible station and four self-service kiosks, along with three self-service kiosks in The Mint. It will also feature a VSiN Broadcast Studio for live analysis and gameday content.

Kentucky Derby sets record betting handle
Churchill Downs reported that wagering from all sources on the Kentucky Derby Day programe reached a new record of $349m. That compares to the previous record of $320.5m set last year. All-sources wagering on the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby race reached a record $234.4m, up from $210.7m, and the all-sources handle for Derby Week rose to a new record of $473.9m, beating last year’s $446.6m.
