Maryland casino revenue declines in June
Revenue decreased 2.4 per cent year-over-year.
US.- Maryland Lottery and Gaming has reported that the six casinos in the state generated a combined $156.8m in revenue from slot machines and table games in June. That’s a decrease of 2.4 per cent year-over-year and down from $170m in May.
MGM National Harbor led the market with $66.6m in revenue, down 0.9 per cent, followed by Live! Casino & Hotel with $56.2m, down 4.7 per cent. Horseshoe Casino reported revenue of $14.2m, down 0.4 per cent; Ocean Downs Casino $8.8m, up 4.3 per cent; Hollywood Casino $6.8m, down 5.8 per cent, and Rocky Gap Casino $4.3m, down 6.8 per cent.
Casino gaming contributions to the state were $67.9m, down 0.9 per cent compared to the same period in 2025. Some $48.9m went to the Education Trust Fund, down 1 per cent.
Through fiscal year 2026, from July 2025 through June 2026, casino gaming revenue totalled $1.9bn, down 1.7 per cent year-on-year. Contributions to the state totalled $831m, down 1.1 per cent.
