Belgium’s Bingoal joins IBIA

The retail and online gambling operator will integrate its sportsbook with the association’s monitoring platform.

Belgium.- The retail and online gambling operator Bingoal has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

The operator’s sportsbook will be integrated with IBIA’s betting integrity monitoring and alert platform, and it will share data on suspicious betting with IBIA members.

Chief executive Joeri Impens said: “As a socially responsible business, Bingoal recognises that maintaining the integrity of our sportsbook product is an essential pillar of our commitment towards protecting our customers and the sporting events on which we offer markets.”

IBIA chief executive Khalid Ali said: “Bingoal adds both retail and online intelligence capacity, with the former often being overlooked in the wider integrity data gathering debate.

“It is very pleasing that responsible operators such as Bingoal continue to recognise the importance of integrity and see IBIA as their preferred partner.”

The IBIA saw a 52% increase in suspicious betting alerts in the third quarter.
