Bay 101 Casino will be relocated

The original Bay 101 Casino remains operational 24 hours a day 7 days a week, whilst the construction started.

US.- Operators of Bay 101 Casino in California announced that the gaming salon will be moved to another building near the San Jose International Airport, also in the West Coast State. The relocated Bay 101 Casino will be opened by 2017.

“When Bay 101 was looking to relocate, we realized this was an opportunity to create something that didn’t exist in Silicon Valley — a seamlessly integrated development with office space, top-end business-class hotels, a range of dining options, and entertainment anchored by the casino. Most people have less time than ever today and to be able to stay, play and work in one location with so many options within mere steps is a compelling proposition,” explained Tom Purtell, chief operating officer for project manager at Borelli Investment Company.

The company is investing US$100 million in the first phase of the construction. The casino property will be divided in a two-story, 68,000 sq. ft. property. Californian authorities also approved the second plan that includes for a nine-story, 242,000 sq. ft. office tower, an eight-level parking garage, a seven-story Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel and a 10-story business-class hotel. The last part of the project is expected to be finished by 2018.
