After a snap closure due to a new case of Covid-19, SkyCity’s Auckland casino will reopen from Sunday March 7.
New Zealand.- SkyCity Entertainment Group has announced it will reopen its Auckland casino from Sunday, March 7.
The reopening came following the New Zealand Government’s announcement that the Covid-19 alert level will be lowered to level 2 in Auckland and to level 1 for the rest of New Zealand.
SkyCity’s Auckland casino and entertainment facilities will reopen with physical distancing ahd hygiene requirements in place.
There will be not restrictions on physical distance requirements for its Hamilton and Queenstown properties, which are under level 1. It hopes Auckland will be reduced to level 1 soon.
SkyCity’s Auckland casino had to close its doors for seven days after the city reverted back to level three.
