SkyCity Auckland closes after new Covid-19 outbreak
The casino will be closed for at least seven days after a new case of Covid-19 in Auckland.
New Zealand.- SkyCity Entertainment Group has closed its Auckland casino again after the city reverted back to alert level three for at least seven days.
The New Zealand government announced the measure after a new case of Covid-19 was detected in Auckland.
Previously, a snap three-day lockdown was implemented on Sunday February 14.
The New Zealand casino operator has been deeply affected by Covid-19 countermeasures, with revenues down 76 per cent year-on-year in the last six months of 2020.
