Premium player activity banned at Crown Perth

The GWC has prohibited Crown Perth from conducting any junket, premium or privileged player activity.

Australia.- The Western Australian regulator, The Gaming and Wagering Commission (GWC), has prohibited Crown Resorts from running high-roller activities at its Perth casino.

Crown Perth will be unable to participate in junkets or allow non-residents to receive premium or privileged service in exchange for high-value table playing.

The company previously had arrangements to pay commission, or provide transport, accommodation, food, drink or entertainment, based on customer turnover.

The decision comes shortly after the Victorian Government announced it would establish a Royal Commission to look into Crown’s Melbourne casino.
