Macau.- Health authorities in Macau have announced that as of Tuesday, all visitors have been in the Kashgar district of Xinjiang province in the prior 14 days will have to go through mandatory quarantine.
It is a similar measure to that taken in mid-October for visitors that had been to Qingdao city.
On October 25, the National Health Commission and the Health Commission of the Autonomous Region of Xinjiang-Uighur reported 137 asymptomatic and infection cases in the region.
On arrival in Macau, visitors will be placed under medical observation in designated places for a two-week period, and they must suspend professional activities.
Visitors who have already entered Macau and reported visiting Kashgar must monitor their health status and take a nucleic acid test.
