Century Entertainment projects US$5.7m in Q2 GGR from new Philippine gaming operations
The forecast follows the rollout of 27 games across seven venue operators through joint venture Konphil Technology Company.
Hong Kong.- Century Entertainment has reported that it expects US$5.7m in unaudited pre-tax net winnings from new Philippine gaming operations for the quarter ending June 30 after the rollout of 27 games across seven venue operators through joint venture Konphil Technology Company. It said all seven venues in Parañaque, Calamba in Laguna, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija are operational and generating revenue for the joint venture.
Phase IV operations began in April after Konphil entered a game deployment agreement with World Platinum Technologies, a service provider licensed by the Philippine Gaming and Amusement Corp (Pagcor) to supply electronic gaming machines, gaming content, and related services to licensed operators. WPT acts as the primary platform provider and maintains contractual relationships venue operators, while Konphil provides the technology, game logic, and return-to-player-ratio algorithms.
Konphil Technology is entitled to 85 per cent of net winning income under a revenue-sharing arrangement.
Century Entertainment said it plans to double the number of deployed games by December. While Century does not have a direct PAGCOR licence, it says Hong Kong subsidiary NobleMind Technology has been invited to acquire a 5 per cent to 10 per cent interest in a new Pagcor-licensed entity. Due diligence is underway, with completion expected next month.
Trading in Century Entertainment’s shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has been suspended since June 26, 2025. In April, Ng Man Sun, a veteran of Macao’s VIP gaming industry, was reinstated as chairman and executive director of the company.
