Ainsworth reports revenue up on previous half
The company has reported that revenue increased by 71 per cent compared to the previous half.
Australia.- Australian slot manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology has reported revenue of US$72m for the first half of its financial year.
Th figure represents an increase of 71 per cent on US$42m in the previous half but a 33 per cent drop year–on-year.
The company expects to report a loss before tax of approximately US$14m for the six months ending December 31.
Revenue from Australia totalled US$19m, up 118 per cent on the previous half and in line with the prior-year period.
In the US, AGT saw positive signs of recovery with revenue of US$41m, up from US$21m in the previous half.
The company said it had seen strong performance from recently released products.
Last year, the company reported that sales revenues dropped 36 per cent for its full-year 2020.
