Tunisia’s Gaming Night 3.0 set to unite gamers across the nation
Major virtual tournament brings students together for Valorant, FIFA and League of Legends battles, highlighting Africa’s growing esports scene.
Tunisia.- The stage is set for Tunisia’s Gaming Night 3.0, a major virtual tournament bringing together student gamers from across the nation in what is being billed as one of the most ambitious esports collaborations in the country.
Taking place on August 22–23, the event is organised by various Computer Society student branches and local university groups. Participants will face off in high-stakes battles in popular games like Valorant, a team-based shooting game; FIFA, a soccer simulation; and League of Legends, a strategy-based multiplayer game.
Facilitators have cited the communal nature of the event, with the aim of fostering community engagement, strengthening bonds among students and developing the active gaming culture of the country.
Organisers said: “The virtual arena opens once again for Gaming Night 3.0. Whether you’re a Valorant sharpshooter, a FIFA strategist or a League of Legends mastermind, this is your night to compete, connect and conquer wherever you are, and whatever level you’re at.”

Beyond competition, Gaming Night 3.0 is riding on a broader wave: student-led esports initiatives are leading Africa’s growing gaming momentum. Proper planning has been put into the event, from timelines and sign-ups to task distribution among the groups.
While based in Tunisia, the tournament will gain exposure across Africa’s gaming community, presenting grounds for skill building, networking and exposure in the fast-growing world of esports.
