Côte d’Ivoire’s Lottery staff-management meeting highlights ambitious 2026 targets
LONACI leverages internal dialogue to drive record performance and strategic growth across West Africa.
Côte d’Ivoire.- Côte d’Ivoire’s National Lottery (LONACI) held a high-profile staff-management meeting, reviewing the company’s 2025 performance and discussing plans for 2026. The session highlighted a culture of internal dialogue and collaboration.
The meeting on February 20 brought together Director General Dramane Coulibaly and senior executives including Cheick Tirera, Alain Tiémele and Diallo Adama, along with staff delegates. LONACI underscored its commitment to inclusive organisational planning and said “the meeting took place in a climate of trust, responsibility and friendliness”.
Looking ahead, LONACI has set an ambitious 2026 revenue target of FCFA744.3bn (€1.12bn) as part of its broader growth plan, which focuses on digital expansion, product relaunches and strengthened distribution channels.
Constructive staff spirit
On behalf of the staff, spokesperson Sidenonie Yobouet expressed her congratulations to the General Manager for the quality of his management and the performance achieved. She also presented various grievances on behalf of the staff, “in a constructive spirit”.
LONACI reported record-breaking financial results in 2025. The lottery posted a turnover of FCFA657.6bn (€986m), a 14 per cent increase from 2024; player gains redistributed reached FCFA413.9bn (€621m); contributions to the state amounted to FCFA21bn (€31.5m) and the operator anticipates a net positive result of FCFA12.6bn (€18.9m).
