The sports betting company donated essential supplies to the Sis Iye Children Orphanage in Bardnesville in partnership with Shaita Angels and Watanga Football Clubs.

Liberia.- Bettomax has delivered essential supplies to a children’s orphanage in Liberia as part of its community support program for struggling institutions. In collaboration with Shaita Angels Football Club and Watanga Football Club, the sports betting company supported the Sis Iye Children Orphanage in Bardnesville ahead of the Christmas holidays.

The donation reflects Bettomax’s continued engagement with local football clubs as a channel for community support, combining sports development with targeted assistance for vulnerable institutions.

Fallah Braima, Operations Manager for Bettomax, said the initiative is intended to provide practical relief while encouraging organisations facing persistent resource challenges. “We are excited to put smiles on the faces of those in need. We know the challenges that people running orphanages face: the congestion of the children, health issues, mattresses and so many other things,” said Braima, according to FrontPage Africa.

Essential supplies and ongoing support

The items donated included bags of rice, mattresses, cooking oil, toiletries and other essential supplies, aimed at easing the daily pressures faced by the orphanage, which has been providing education and care from elementary through senior high since 1990.

Bettomax allocates $1,000 each month to assist orphanages, health facilities and other community institutions, making the Bardnesville donation part of an ongoing support initiative.

The orphanage’s proprietress, Isata Momo, expressed appreciation for the support, saying the items would be used as intended.

Ricky Teah, Vice President of Shaita Angels, said the gesture was timed to coincide with the festive season and reaffirmed the club’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
