“1xBet wants to continue to set the bar for excellence in sports betting”

(Exclusive interview).- 1xBet, the awarded leading international gaming and technology company, talked with Focus Gaming News about the future of live sports, virtual sports and esports.

The sports betting industry is facing a great paradigm shift like never before and companies such as 1xBet are one step forward. Focus Gaming News talked with them about the future of the industry and how they are working these days.

After winning “Sports Betting Platform of the Year” at the 2020 International Gaming Awards, what steps did the company take to keep its standards?

The victory in one of the main categories of these prestigious awards became an additional motivation to work diligently on our product. We want to continue to set the bar for excellence in sports betting and conquer new heights in the future.

We have a clear 1xBet development strategy, which includes a number of key areas:

Technological component: We are actively following the latest trends, not only in gambling but also in other related fields. If we see interesting concepts that can enhance our service, we eagerly take the opportunity.

Analysis of the popularity of all betting markets: In our sphere, customer preferences change very often. Where yesterday some users preferred to bet on football, today their attention is attracted, for example, by esports competitions. We actively study the behaviour of our users and respond to their interest in certain events.

Product Variety: We have long proved that 1xBet is not only a “sports betting brand”. We try to reach people of all ages, status and interests through various sections, games and competitions.

What other sections, besides sports betting, are rapidly gaining in popularity at 1xBet?

Users have long been betting on esports, virtual sports and Toto with great interest. We are very pleased with the progress of these sections and plan to further develop them.

The overall picture is such that, in principle, we do not have any sections that are not in demand. Among the leaders growthwise though is our virtual sports section. Here, players can bet on their favourite sports and then watch simulations of matches with the help of advanced technologies.

But we never think about slowing down innovation because the competition in these categories is too great for us to allow ourselves to rest on our laurels.

We have long proved that 1xBet is not only a “sports betting brand”. We try to reach people of all ages, status and interests through various sections, games and competitions.

1xBet has already shown its interest in esports with its recent association with NaVi – what role do esports play for the company at the moment?

At the moment, 1xBet is a partner of several large esports brands at once – namely Natus Vincere, HellRaisers and Cascade.

We are pleased with all our partnerships with the teams and regularly conduct joint activities with each. Recently, we conducted streams with Natus Vincere, and the funds raised with their help will be transferred to a charity fund.

During this year, at least one other major “player” from the world of esports will definitely join the 1xBet family.

We also actively work with users who love esports. Thematic promotions, new disciplines and gaming prizes – it is difficult to imagine the 1xBet esports section without the input of fans. Our brand is a great friend of gamers from around the world.

You have also shown your interest in the Latin American market after arriving in Mexico and praising its possibilities, as well as Brazil’s. Where else (in LatAm) do you see the company expanding in the near future and what does it need to do so?

Entering the Mexican market gives us a great advantage in the Latin American market overall. We want to emphasize that we are comprehensively approaching the expansion of the geography of our brand and are systematically developing in all regions.

Most recently, we started work in Tunisia. This is one of the most developed countries in the African region and it is vital for us to succeed there.

We will be happy to open our doors to new users from other countries as our expansion progresses. Our goal is to provide access to the best product for as many players in the world as possible.

During this year, at least one other major “player” from the world of esports will definitely join the 1xBet family.

What are your plans for the near future as sports competitions are anything but close to returning?

We know that fans are already missing sports competitions, but our players didn’t get bored. We had been working on the development of our virtual sports section for a long time, and the reaction of the players has shown that they love this form of entertainment.

A pause in the sport also gave us a chance to think about various ideas for the future. We can predict that in the coming years the demand for new solutions in gambling, especially in the online component, will increase. We not only observe these trends with interest but also actively participate in the development of our own solutions for the future.

Sooner or later though sport will return in full force, and we will be ready. It will be exciting – not only on the fields of play but also on 1xBet.
