Wynn to create over 2,700 jobs as UAE casino resort ramps up hiring
Wynn Resorts plans a major 2026 recruitment drive for Wynn Al Marjan Island, with roles across casino gaming, hospitality and support functions ahead of the resort’s expected 2027 opening.
Wynn Resorts has announced it aims to recruit around 2,750 employees this year for Wynn Al Marjan Island, its $5.1bn integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah that will include casino gaming.
The casino operator said the roles will span resort operations, including casino gaming operations, hospitality, entertainment and corporate support functions. The recruitment drive comes as the project moves from the construction phase to the next stage: preparing for operation ahead of the resort’s expected opening in 2027.
The company’s latest annual report showed that 251 staff were employed at the project by the end of 2025, after a net addition of 56 team members in the fourth quarter. Wynn said onboarding of line staff would accelerate through 2026, with total headcount expected to reach about 3,000 by year-end.
When complete, the $5.1bn resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 food and beverage venues, luxury retail outlets, entertainment facilities and a marina. A casino will form a major part of the development, placing the project firmly within the UAE’s evolving approach to regulated gaming.
The wider economic impact is expected to extend well beyond the resort itself. Industry estimates suggest the project could generate more than 9,000 direct and indirect jobs, spanning tourism services, hospitality suppliers and businesses tied to Ras Al Khaimah’s broader visitor economy.
