US.- The Snoqualmie Casino in Washington State has announced it will introduce the state’s first Las Vegas-style progressive point spread contest. The contest will begin with the 2023 football season, guaranteeing the overall winner $100,000. Players can register at Snoqualmie Casino’s Sportsbook and with a $1,000 buy-in, participants will select up to five picks against the spread each week beginning August 29.

The casino launched mobile sports betting in 2022 and became the first operator in the state to accept legal sports wagers in September 2021.

Casino CEO Sanford Le said: “Our casino is always looking for new ways to enhance the gaming experience for its guests. The Beat the Spread Pigskin Challenge is a way for our guests to test their football knowledge and compete against others for a really attractive and continually-growing prize pool.”

Last month, Snoqualmie Casino announced it had started a $400m expansion project. It will add a new hotel, expanded gaming floor, spa, a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention centre, parking and two restaurants with a third to open later. The construction of the venue will create an estimated 500 jobs. The casino plans to finish the renovation in Q4 2024.
