Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority reports record profits
SIGA has reported $418m in gross revenue for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
Canada.- The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has reported record profits for a fourth consecutive year. It achieved $418m in gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the fiscal year from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), compared to $378m in 2024-25.
The final distribution of income was $167m in the 2025-26 fiscal year, up from $146m in 2024-25. To date, over $1.9bn has been paid out by SIGA to the First Nations communities, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and the Province’s General Revenue fund.
SIGA president and CEO Zane Hansen said: “2025–26 was a year defined by growth, progress, and continued investment in the people and communities at the heart of SIGA’s mission. We are proud to share that SIGA has delivered record-breaking financial results for the fourth year running. Gross gaming revenue reached $418m, and our final distribution of income was $167m.
“As a 30-year gaming operator, we continue to evolve and make substantial investments into our casino properties, online igaming, and in giving back to the communities where we live and work.”
SIGA is a non-profit corporation that operates seven land-based casinos and the online igaming platform PlayNow in Saskatchewan. Some 50 per cent of casino net income is redistributed to the First Nations Trust (which is distributed to the 74 First Nations in the province), 25 per cent to Community Development Corporations (CDCs), and 25 per cent to the provincial General Revenue Fund.
