SOFTSWISS Prediction Markets wins at SiGMA North America 2026

SOFTSWISS has won the Industry Innovator award at SiGMA North America 2026 for its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds product launched in April 2026 that surpassed 50 live projects within months of launch and can be deployed by existing partners in two to three days. The recognition underlines the growing commercial viability of prediction markets as a product category for regulated iGaming operators, offering new entry points to player segments beyond traditional sports bettors through event-based wagering across politics, economics, technology and culture.

Press release.- SOFTSWISS has won the Industry Innovator award for its Prediction Markets Platform at SiGMA North America 2026 in Mexico City. The recognition comes as the company expands its offering for regulated markets, combining new product capabilities with the infrastructure and operational support needed for long-term growth.

The award recognises the SOFTSWISS Prediction Markets platform, launched in April 2026, to give operators a way to add event-based wagering to their existing offering. The product uses a fixed-odds model and can be deployed as a standalone project or integrated into a sportsbook via API or iFrame. It earned earlier industry recognition when it won the Best Next-Gen Betting Product category at the SiGMA Asia Awards 2026, less than two months after launch.

The platform has since surpassed 50 live projects within its pipeline and supports 10+ event categories. Existing SOFTSWISS partners can launch it in two to three days, and new operators can go live in approximately three weeks. The SOFTSWISS risk team can manage markets for operators without an in-house trading function.

Alexander Kamenetskyi, head of operations at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, commented: “We built Prediction Markets with a clear focus on making a new product category practical for operators. Innovation only creates value when it can work reliably within an operator’s existing business and meet the expectations of regulated markets. Receiving recognition at such an early stage of the product lifecycle is an important signal that we are moving in the right direction. It is particularly meaningful as SOFTSWISS continues to strengthen its position in regulated markets and support operators expanding within them.”

Prediction Markets can help operators reach player segments that do not typically engage with traditional sportsbook products. By covering topics such as politics, economics, technology, and culture, the product creates new entry points for people whose interest is driven by real-world events rather than sports. For operators, this creates an opportunity to broaden their offering without moving away from a familiar operational setup.

Mexico has become an important part of SOFTSWISS’ regional growth plans. The company already supports licensed gaming brands in the country with a compliant igaming setup and 24/7 technical and client support. SOFTSWISS’ presence at SiGMA North America 2026 reflects a wider focus on combining technology with local market knowledge and long-term partnerships.
