Potawatomi Casino reveals expansion

The Milwaukee hotel and casino Potawatomi announced its plans to build a second hotel tower.

US.- Potawatomi Hotel & Casino revealed its intentions to expand the Milwaukee facility to build a second hotel tower. The petition that is still pending approval by the city is set to begin construction during the third or fourth quarter.

The facility owned and operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community said that she second tower will feature up to 119 more rooms and suites, increasing the overall number to 500. Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Chief Operating Officer Rodney Ferguson said: “The Forest County Potawatomi have committed to investing in Milwaukee. This next addition is one more example of that commitment. Aside from accommodating our guests, the project will create hundreds of jobs on the construction site and dozens of permanent positions within the hotel.”

The casino official also said that the project is set to bring an additional 50 permanent hotel jobs, and they would add to the approximately 2700 current employees, turning the facility into one of the best employers in Milwaukee. “By adding nearly 60 suites to the property with this expansion, we’re prioritizing our casino guests and their experience when visiting. The rooms, along with the spa, will bolster the property’s reputation as an attractive destination for visitors in the region and beyond,” he added.
