Pennsylvania gaming revenue increases year-over-year in June
Combined total revenue was up 15.4 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that the combined revenue generated by all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $544.6m in June, up 15.4 per cent year-over-year but down 9.5 per cent from May.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course reported $96.3m in revenue, up 30 per cent year-over year. Valley Forge Casino Resort reported $93.4m, up 46.3 per cent, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia $53.4m, up 12.2 per cent.
Retail slot revenue was $199.2m, down 0.85 per cent from the same month in 2024. The number of slot machines in operation was 24,349 compared to 24,731 at the casinos in June 2024. Retail table games revenue was $77.2m, an increase of 1.58 per cent. Total tax from revenue was $229.7m, with $100.8m from slots and $12.8m from table games.
Online gaming generated gross revenue of $212.6 in June, up 32.33 per cent year-over-year. Tax revenue totalled $95.6m. The sports wagering handle was $483.6m, up 4.11 per cent compared to the same month in 2024.
Valley Forge Casino Resort reported a $163.9m handle and $23.1m in revenue. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows $131.9m and $14.1m and Hollywood Casino Morgantown $46.3m and $3.1m. Tax totalled $51,2m, up 71.4 per cent year-over-year.
