Pennsylvania gaming revenue increases year-over-year in July
Combined total revenue increased 11.4 per cent.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that the combined revenue generated from all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $557.7m in July. That’s a rise of 11.4 per cent year-over-year and a fall of 2.4 per cent from June 2025.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the market with $103.5m in revenue, up 30.2 per cent year-over year. Valley Forge Casino Resort took $88.9m, an increase of 19.2 per cent, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia $57.4m, up 16.6 per cent.
Retail slot revenue was $208.6m, up 2 per cent year-over-year. The number of slot machines in operation was 24,362 compared to 24,709 at the casinos in the same month in 2024. Retail table games revenue was $76.2m, down 3.97 per cent.
Online gaming generated gross revenue of $228.2m, an increase of 33 per cent from the same period in 2024. Tax revenue totalled $103.8m. The sports betting handle was $412.4m, down 0.5 per cent year-over-year, while tax revenue was $40.5m, up 5.2 per cent. Valley Forge Casino Resort reported a $141m handle and $15.5m in revenue. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows totalled $112.3m handle and revenue of $11.2m. Hollywood Casino York reported $28.4m and $2.7m.
Tax revenue generated collectively through all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $2385m. Tax revenue from slots was $105.3m, while table games generated $12.8m.
