Penn Entertainment to open new Hollywood Casino Columbus hotel tower in June

The new 150,000-square-foot tower will feature 203 rooms.

US.- Penn Entertainment has announced that it expects to open the new hotel tower at Ohio’s Hollywood Casino Columbus on June 12, pending customary regulatory approvals. The 150,000-square-foot tower will have 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites, a full-service bar and a restaurant, The Hill Eatery & Lounge.

The tower will also have conference rooms, a fitness centre and a terrace. Guests will be able to book rooms beginning April 15. An opening event on June 12 will include an outdoor festival and a concert. The resort plans to add expanded high-limit table games room in the second half of the year.

The company stated that the new hotel will add roughly 100 new jobs. It will host job fairs for all hotel staff positions on March 27 and April 10.

Hollywood Casino Columbus is located off I-270 West. The 160,000-square-foot gaming facility features slot machines, table games, a sportsbook and a poker room. It also offers a variety of dining options and more than 16,000 square feet of banquet and event space.

This opening will mark our third retail development project to be completed in under a year, building on the momentum from our new casino in Joliet and second hotel tower at the M Resort.”

In 2025, Penn opened a casino in Joliet, Illinois, and a new hotel tower at M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas. The company also expects to open the new Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois late in the second quarter of the year, and a new property in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is anticipated to open in late 2027 or early 2028.

Penn Entertainment revenue rises in Q4

Penn Entertainment reported financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. Revenue totalled $1.8bn, up from $1.66bn reported in the same period in 2024. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA was $225.8m, up from $165.2m.

Revenue for retail property was $1.4bn. Segment adjusted EBITDAR was $456.4m and segment adjusted EBITDAR was 32.3 per cent. The interactive segment generated record revenue of $398.7m and adjusted EBITDA loss of $39.9m.
