Penn Entertainment announces new corporate structure
The company’s new structure is effective immediately.
US.- Penn Entertainment has announced a new corporate structure effective immediately. Todd George, executive vice president, operations, and Rich Primus, senior vice president, chief information officer (CIO), will step down, and their positions now eliminated.
George served at the company for over 13 years in various roles, including as vice president and general manager of the Hollywood Casino properties in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and St. Louis, Missouri, and as senior vice president of regional operations for the Midwest. Primus served as Penn’s CIO for more than 10 years.
Penn’s current senior vice presidents of regional operations, Rafael Verde, Aaron Rosenthal, and Justin Carter, will continue their regional oversight of retail operations. Verde and Rosenthal will report to Jay Snowden, Penn’s chief executive officer (CEO) and president, and Carter will report to Verde.
The company will realign its interactive focus on digital assets in Canada and its Hollywood online casino product in the US. Jennifer Weissman, chief marketing officer, will focus on omnichannel results, which will include working closely with Aaron LaBerge, chief technology officer and head of interactive, to enhance the Play loyalty programme and cross-selling.
Aaron LaBerge will assume responsibility for Penn’s enterprise IT functions, in addition to maintaining his current responsibilities. Penn has commenced a search for a digital chief operating officer (COO).
Snowden said: “As we turn the calendar to 2026, we are restructuring our corporate organization in order to achieve greater operational efficiencies, deepen customer engagement across channels, maximize free cash flow, and drive shareholder value.
“Both Todd and Rich have made significant contributions to Penn’s evolution over the past decade and helped build the strong foundation we have in place today. On behalf of the company’s board of directors, I want to express my appreciation for their dedication and efforts to Penn over the years and wish them well in their future endeavors.”
In December, Penn named former ESPN executive Nate Ravitz as head of theScore. Penn has completed the rebrand of its online sports betting (OSB) platform from ESPN Bet to theScore Bet following the termination of its agreement with the Disney-owned broadcaster.
