PAGCOR opens bidding process
A bidding process for administrators of POGO licenses has been opened by PAGCOR in order to find an experienced consultant.
Philippine.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is in the search of suitors to create and administrate an intermediation platform for its POGO licenses. The regulator issued a document in which it announces the opening of a bidding process for consultants to take over the development, management and operation of said platform.
The document reads: “In carrying out the project, PAGCOR requires the engagement of the services of an experienced and qualified consultant that possesses the requisite knowledge, expertise and background, specifically in the field of the development, operation and management of any audit program/intermediary platform to guarantee the successful execution of the project.”
The winner of the process will be in charge of creating and managing the intermediation platform in order to comply with PAGCOR’s needs related to the POGO licenses and its necessities. The management process is expected to last ten years, starting when the winner is announced.
PAGCOR will dedicate US$121.1 million yearly in order to finance the development and manteinance of the system, scheduled to start this year. 10 percent of the revenue from POGO per quarter will be paid to the consultant, starting at day-1 of the projects development.
Suitors have time to submit their documents until Tuesday, June 20, and there’s already rumours that there has already been interest from Malta and Isle of Man for the bidding process.
