Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City has made a delayed reopening after closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

US.- The Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon, has reopened. The casino, hotel and golf course was due to reopen on August 26 but its reopening was postponed due to concerns over the Delta variant of Covid-19.

The resort on the Oregon coast, which was closed for more than two weeks, will require all visitors to have their temperatures checked on entry and to wear masks at all times. Guests cannot eat or drink at table games, and the bar-top service in the lounge areas has been suspended. The fitness centre and the nightclub remain closed.
