Oregon sports betting revenue drops 21%
Sports betting in Oregon saw a 21 per cent month-on-month dip in July, raking $2.2m.
US.- The DraftKings-powered sports betting offering in Oregon experienced a slight slump in July with $2.2m in gross gaming revenue, down 21 per cent from June.
The betting handle came in at $18.2m from 503,653 bets, down from the previous month’s $24.9m.
Amid the MLB season, baseball was the most popular sport, generating a third of the handle at $6.3m (163,674 bets) and $518,778 of total revenue. Basketball followed with a $4.7m handle (114,425 bets) but led revenue with $810,206. Football came in third with a $2.6m handle (83,663 bets) and $255,141 revenue.
Pre-match bets were the most popular option, accounting for 319,933 bets and taking $1.3m revenue. There were 183,719 live bets, generating $848,784.
