NYRA Bets launches in New Jersey

The platform is now available to racing fans in the state.

US.- NYRA Bets has gone live in New Jersey. The wagering platform will be the exclusive managing vendor of New Jersey’s online and mobile pari-mutuel account wagering system for horse racing and will be responsible for recruiting additional operators to launch platforms. The United Tote Company will process wagers.

Since 2005, horseracing bettors have had only one option for betting online, the 4NJBets platform currently operated by ODS Technologies (TVG Network owned by FanDuel).

Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said: “This is a significant and historic expansion of horse racing fans’ options for pari-mutuel wagering in the Garden State. I’m pleased my office was able to facilitate this important transition to enhance the wagering experience while maintaining the integrity that NJRC is known for.”

Sara Ben-David, NJRC acting executive director, added: “We know that players want more wagering options, and NJRC staff worked diligently to oversee an orderly, trustworthy, and accurate process. I’m thankful to everyone for their patience as we prepared for this important milestone.”
