Nottingham Forest unveils Bally’s Corporation as front-of-shirt sponsor
The US casino and online gaming operator aims to expand its European visibility.
UK.- The US casino giant Bally’s Corporation has been named as the new front-of-shirt sponsor of the Nottingham Forest. The move signals the US company’s intention to expand its presence in Europe and comes in the final season before the English Premier League’s voluntary ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorship.
Home shirts featuring the Bally’s logo will worn for the first time in today’s friendly against Serie A’s Fiorentina at the City Ground. The logo will also appear in placement’s across the club’s stadium from August 17.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis said: “We are on a special journey – we are determined to keep achieving incredible things and strengthening our global partnerships is an important part of this.
“As our club continues to thrive both on and off the pitch, we’re looking forward to working with Bally’s on a number of exciting initiatives, helping us to engage with our growing fanbase within Nottinghamshire and around the world.”
Bally’s Corporation CEO Robeson Reeves added: “Bally’s has always been dedicated to delivering exceptional entertainment, from our renowned resort destinations to our popular gaming platforms. Partnering with Nottingham Forest, an iconic club with a proud history and passionate fanbase, is a natural fit for us.
“We’re excited to bring our global brand to the Premier League stage, introduce new audiences to the club, and collaborate on initiatives that make a meaningful impact both locally and internationally. On behalf of everyone at Bally’s, we wish the Reds every success for the season ahead.”
Bally’s online operator Gamesys launched a Bally’s-branded online casino in Britain in 2023, replacing its existing Megaways Casino brand. The same year, major US rival BetMGM also launched on the market. Last month, Bally’s international interactive business was bought by Intralot.
