New Jersey gaming revenue increases year-over-year in April
Revenue totalled $536.6m, up 5 per from April 2025.
US.- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported figures for April. Revenue totalled $536.6m, up 5 per cent year-over-year but down 1.7 per cent from March.
Revenue from igaming was $235.2m, up 25.2 per cent year-over-year and down 3.6 per cent from the previous month. Land-based casino revenue was $211m, a decrease of 2.7 per cent year-over-year. Slot machine revenue was $162.2m, up 2.1 per cent, and table games $48.8, down 16 per cent.
FanDuel and Golden Nugget Atlantic City led the market with $52.9m in revenue, up 35.3 per cent. DraftKings and Resorts Casino Hotel were second with $46.9m, up 19.5 per cent. Gross revenue taxes were $59.8m.
Year-to date gaming revenue was $2.12bn through April 2025, reflecting 3.1 per cent growth. The year-to-date internet gaming win was $908.4m, up 21 per cent.
Sports wagering gross revenue was $90.5, down 14.8 per cent year-over-year. Online sports betting revenue was $87.9m, down 15.7 per cent, and the retail sector totalled $2.6m, up 34.1 per cent. The handle totalled $994.4m, down 1.5 per cent year-over-year and 10.4 per cent from March 2025. Online betting wagers reached $954.1m and retail $40.4m.
FanDuel and Meadowlands led the market with $31.8m in revenue. DraftKings and Resorts Casino Hotel posted $22.8m, BetFanatics and Bally’s $12.9m. BetMGM and Borgata $7.1m, and Bet365 and Hard Rock $5.6m.
