Nevada gaming revenue rises slightly in February
Revenue increased 1.5 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.23bn in revenue in February. That’s an increase of 1.5 per cent year-over-year.
Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas Strip, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip, and surrounding areas, generated $1.07bn in revenue, up 0.7 per cent compared to the same month in 2025. The Las Vegas Strip contributed $696.2m, up 0.86 per cent.
Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks, and North Lake Tahoe, generated $84.2m, up 7.1 per cent year-over-year. South Lake Tahoe contributed $18m, up 1.5 per cent, Elko County $33.6m, up 7.7 per cent and the Carson Valley Area $10.3m, up 4.2 per cent.
The State collected $73m in percentage fees, down 3 per cent compared to the same period in 2025.
The NGCB’s figures showed that $133.8m was wagered at this year’s Super Bowl across the state’s 186 sportsbooks, the lowest handle in a decade. According to NGCB chairman Mike Dreitzer, unaudited figures showed a sportsbook win of $9.9m, resulting in a hold of 7.4 per cent.
