Nevada reports lowest Super Bowl betting handle in a decade

Figures show that $133.8m was wagered on the Super Bowl across the state’s 186 sportsbooks.

US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released figures showing that $133.8m was wagered at this year’s Super Bowl across the state’s 186 sportsbooks. According to NGCB chairman Mike Dreitzer, unaudited figures show a sportsbook win of $9.9m, resulting in a hold of 7.4 per cent.

A summary of Nevada sportsbooks’ performance over the last ten Super Bowl editions shows that this year’s event on February 8 attracted the lowest handle in a decade. The record was set in 2024 with $190m in bets, followed by $179.8m in 2022 and $158.58m in 2018.
