Nevada gaming revenue increases in August

The state’s casino revenue was up 5.4 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released its gaming report for August. The state’s casinos generated $1.22bn in revenue, up 5.4 per cent year-over-year. The figure decreased from July 2025’s $1.36bn.

Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, generated $1.03bn, up 5.3 per cent from the same period in 2024, and the Las Vegas Strip $679.3m, up 5.5 per cent.

Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe, reported $98.1m, up 5.3 per cent, South Lake Tahoe $26.7m, up 0.5 per cent, and the Carson Valley Area, which includes Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except South Lake Tahoe, totalled $12.7m, up 3.3 per cent.

The state collected $77.1m in percentage fees, a 33.71 per cent increase year-over-year.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) recently announced the launch of an ad and social media campaign under the tagline “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas“. It features broadcast TV, activations, experiences, special offers and partnerships. The campaign launched with a 60-second spot during the Dallas vs. Philadelphia football game on September 4.
